This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
